Whitney has had experience in several major hospitals in the area as both a RN and a nurse practitioner
before settling into her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at East Holmes Family Care. Her time in the
emergency department prepared her for the variety of medical problems she addresses on a daily basis.
She is passionate about caring for families and giving them the care they need. Missions have always
been important to her as she first studied both Religion and Psychology at Gardner-Webb University
before getting a Master's in Kinesiology. Whitney then combined that with her desire to care for others by
studying nursing at Ashland University and getting a MSN from Concordia University. She serves on her
medical team and is a small group leader at church. In her free time, Whitney loves reading, gardening,
and traveling. Her husband Kevin, is a mental health therapist for kids and teens.
