Organization & Life

Narlly Solano Mendez is the Executive Director of Dario Christian Academy in Ciudad Dario, Matagalpa, Nicaragua. She is responsible for vision-casting, establishing a relationship-based culture, and the general oversight of school operations and staff.

Narlly graduated with a BA in Education from Washington State University in 2003. Narlly and her husband Julio have 3 children: Julieta, Abigail, and Josias.

MISSION

Narlly founded Dario Christian Academy in 2004, growing it from a one-classroom school to a highly regarded K-12 school with over 385 students and 40 faculty members.

The school focuses on providing students with a quality education that equips them with a Biblical worldview and an understanding of respect, hard work, and God's love.

Faith/Leadership

As a native Nicaraguan, God called Narlly back to Nicaragua to turn the school into what it is today. Over the last 15 years, she has seen what God can do when He is given control.

Narlly's faith greatly impacts her leadership of Dario Christian Academy. In her words, "The Gospel is why we do what we do." She believes strongly in servant leadership and passing that belief on to everyone she interacts with. She believes that educating students with a Biblical worldview will equip them to lead wherever God calls them.
